About
Aida is a Google Certified Trainer, and Educational Consultant. She is currently developing administrator academies and courses for the IL Principals Association and Ed Leaders Network, consulting with school districts across the country, teaching Geoscience courses online, and working with the DOE on the National Science Bowl. She was a 2016-17 Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellow at the U.S. Dept. of Energy, and is a retired high school science department chair. Aida spent 26 years teaching high school and dual credit Geology, Earth Science, and the Physical Sciences. She has been leading workshops on technology integration and NGSS implementation in science classrooms. Aida is the Past President of the National Association of Geoscience Teachers (NAGT), and Spotlight Speaker providing professional development at several Google for Education Summits nationwide.
