Dr. Taylar Wenzel is a consultant and also coordinates special projects for the Center for the Collaborative Classroom. She is also an Associate Lecturer in the School of Teacher Education at the University of Central Florida. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in elementary and secondary education. She is the founder and co-director of the UCF Enrichment Programs in Literacy, which offer intervention and enrichment opportunities to serve K-8 students in the Central Florida area. Taylar is also the director of the UCF Downtown Reading Camp which serves students and families in high needs populations. Taylar regularly presents her work at regional, national, and international conferences, in addition to invited keynote addresses.
