Empowering a Collaborative Leadership Culture

Overview – The Empowering a Collaborative Leadership Culture Micro-Credential requires the practitioner to demonstrate proficiency of all the essential outcomes and the research-based subskills defined in the details. These include the practitioner’s ability to: provide support and resources for establishment and maintenance of a collaborative leadership culture focused on improvement; successfully facilitate and deploy a dynamic process of change and growth that embeds a shared, collaborative leadership culture where all stakeholders are committed to collaborative leadership practices; monitor and assess stakeholder growth within the scope of collaborative leadership skills; and provide a plan with strategies, timelines, evaluation, and a monitoring process aimed at embedding, expanding, and sustaining best practices for a collaborative leadership culture.

Essential Outcomes – Empowering a Collaborative Leadership Culture includes the following identified essential outcomes:

  1. Provide support and resources for establishment and maintenance of a collaborative leadership culture focused on improvement.
  2. Facilitate and successfully deploy a dynamic process of change and growth that embeds a shared, collaborative leadership culture where all stakeholders commit to collaborative leadership practices.
  3. Monitor and assess stakeholder growth in the scope of collaborative leadership skills.
  4. Provide a plan with strategies, implementation timelines, evaluation, and a monitoring process to embed, expand, and sustain best practices for a collaborative leadership culture.

Requirements

Part 1. Overview Questions

Develop a responsive narrative that answers the following questions (1,000-word minimum):

  1. What support and resources have you implemented for the establishment and maintenance of a collaborative leadership culture focused on improvement?
  2. In what ways have you facilitated and successfully deployed a dynamic process of change and growth that embeds a shared, collaborative leadership culture where all stakeholders commit to collaborative leadership practices?
  3. In what ways are you monitoring and assessing stakeholder growth in the scope of collaborative leadership skills?
  4. What processes did you use to develop and implement a plan to embed, expand, and sustain best practices for a collaborative leadership culture.

Part 2. Skill Demonstration Product with Self-Analysis

Develop an artifact portfolio that captures the essential outcomes for the Empowering a Collaborative Leadership Culture Micro-Credential and complete the evidence self-analysis. For each EO detail you will be required to reference an uploaded artifact(s) and guide the assessor to the specific evidence (page number, video time stamp, etc.) within the uploaded artifact(s). An explanation of how the evidence demonstrates proficiency of the outcome detail is also required. The practitioner must clearly and compellingly demonstrate proficiency of every detail under each essential outcome.

Part 3. Reflection & Application

Submit, in writing, a summary of your experience of Empowering a Collaborative Leadership Culture (500-word minimum). Provide specific examples of how you applied all components of the essential outcomes. This could include topics covered and a description of the process used to demonstrate collaborative leadership skills in interactions and decision-making with stakeholders in the educational environment, facilitate and successfully deploy a dynamic process of change and growth that embeds a shared, collaborative leadership culture where all stakeholders commit to collaborative leadership practices, and monitor and assess stakeholder growth in the scope of collaborative leadership skills.
