Overview – The Structuring Systems for Strategic Management Micro-Credential requires the practitioner to demonstrate proficiency of all the essential outcomes and the research-based subskills defined in the details. These include the ability to: establish and validate a collaborative strategic management approach and system process; ensure and implement system components that support the strategic management approach; ensure accountability to achieve strategic management alignment; monitor current strategic management trends and issues in ever-evolving local contexts; and implement a plan with strategies, timelines, evaluation, and a monitoring process to embed, expand, and sustain effective systems to support strategic management. Effective strategic management needs to connect vision and mission to clear, concrete priorities. This ensure strategies and priorities are coherent and aligned to the overall goals. Aligning personnel, budget, schedule, and other factors to concrete actions increases accountability and success in achieving those goals. Establishing and institutionalizing strategic management processes and systems to collect, review, and act on the data in a predictable and accountable manner helps leaders crack trends and make timely adjustments to achieve the vision while navigating ever-evolving contexts (NASSP 2019).
Essential Outcomes –The Structuring Systems for Strategic Management micro credential includes the following five identified essential outcomes:1. Part 1. Overview Questions

Part 2. Skill Demonstration Product with Self-Analysis
Develop an artifact portfolio that captures the essential outcomes for the Structuring Systems for Strategic Management Micro-Credential and complete the evidence self-analysis.
For each EO detail you will be required to reference an uploaded artifact(s) and guide the assessor to the specific evidence (page number, video time stamp, etc.) within the uploaded artifact(s). An explanation of how the evidence demonstrates proficiency of the outcome detail is also required. The practitioner must clearly and compellingly demonstrate proficiency of every detail under each essential outcome.
Part 3. Reflection & Application
Submit, in writing, a summary of your experience of Structuring Systems for Strategic Management (500-word minimum). Provide specific examples of how you applied all components of the essential outcomes. This could include topics covered and a description of the process used to structure systems for strategic management, including plans, timelines, and results. This could also include testimonials from stakeholders on changes that have led to higher levels of learning for students. Include a reflection about the impact of this skill on your professional practice and how you will continue to apply it in the future.
