Overview – The Creating and Sustaining Innovation Micro-Credential requires the practitioner to demonstrate proficiency of all the essential outcomes and the research-based subskills defined in the details. These include the ability to: establish and support participation to implement a new vision to promote organizational excellence and transformation; develop deep mindfulness of others’ viewpoints and perspectives; provide organizational structures to create and support an innovative culture; generate knowledge and insight through nontraditional ways; and provide a plan with strategies, implementation, and a monitoring process to create and sustain innovation for organizational improvement. “The social changes of the globalized world demand greater competences and challenges, which imply that school organizations must adapt themselves to this changing, demanding, and challenging system. For this reason, it is necessary that school organizations have the capacity to innovate, that this capacity is institutionalized, that it forms part of their culture, and corresponds to a collective effort (Riveras-Leon & Tomàs-Folch, 2019).
