Illinois Mandated and Recommended Training
Ed Leaders Network provides state-mandated training for Illinois educators. This training is provided at no cost to public school educators in Illinois through a partnership between the Illinois Principals Association and the Illinois State Board of Education.
Illinois has implemented a new law that updates the requirements for mandated training for educators. This change aims to streamline the training process and ensure that all educators are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills needed to effectively lead their schools.
Many of the mandated and recommended training courses for Illinois are available on Ed Leaders Network. The new courses will not have (2024-2025) in the title since the state has moved to a 5-year cycle for many of the courses. The courses now have expiration dates and users will receive email notifications when it's time to complete the course again.
