Landon Ballard is a 23-year-old recovering addict from Rockford, IL who has a passion for helping youth who are struggling or maybe just trying to navigate middle school and high school. Landon and his wife, Amaria, travel around Illinois and the Midwest talking about a variety of topics, such as: Mental Health, Addiction, Healthy Self-Esteem, Breaking Negative Family Cycles, Telling Your Story, and SO much more! Along with the presentation that they deliver to students, they also moderate an open discussion session after each presentation with those who were touched by the presentation, want to know more, or have any questions about what they just heard and saw. The response from these presentations has been overwhelmingly positive. Landon and Amaria look forward to making connections with students who are struggling or who just need a reminder to stay on the right path. Landon and Amaria also work to help educate parents, school staff, and others about things such as how to best approach children about these tough topics and what questions to ask. Above all their one mission is to tell their stories of perseverance and encourage others to tell their stories as well.
